Shardad Rohani

Maestro Shardad Rohani, Iranian born American, composer, conductor, and performer with a career spanning three decades. Trained at the Vienna Music Academy, Conservatory, and UCLA, he has collaborated with prestigious ensembles, including the London Symphony Orchestra and the Prague Symphony Orchestra. Serving as the Music Director of the COTA Symphony in Los Angeles and later as the Musical Director and chief conductor of the Tehran Symphony, Maestro Rohani has been instrumental in fostering cultural connections, including notable collaborations with Maestro Riccardo Muti.

 

His global influence is evident through achievements such as composing the anthem for the Iranian National Team at the 2018 World Cup and delivering a captivating performance at “Yanni Live at the Acropolis,” in Parthenon Greece one of the most-watched concert videos. Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Maestro Rohani has received esteemed awards, including Thailand’s King’s Golden Pikanes, the country’s highest honor for orchestral performance.

His recent project, the “Sinus Persicus Suite,” recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, showcases his artistic prowess and has garnered acclaim with performances throughout Europe and the United States. Maestro Shardad Rohani continues to leave an indelible mark on the international music scene, combining artistic excellence with cultural connectivity.
